Now Investable

Labelcoin (now named Investable), was an early stage startup when I came along. Working directly with the founder & CEO Mark Miller, I contributed product, product marketing, operations, and growth innovation strategies. This included roadmapping new app features, functions, UX/UI, and app onboarding improvements.

Labelcoin is an iOS/Android native app, built using the blockchain, to enable artists to sell future earnings on their royalties to fans that invest in them.

Go-to-Market Strategy

Our big go-to-market launch event was to sponsor a house at SXSW in Austin, TX. Enabling us to look for early adoption users, and potential seed investors.

We offered guests of the Labelcoin house a free drink for downloading the app and creating an account - allowing us to continue to retarget them as the app moved from beta to full scale launch.

Along with downloads, we set up multiple music industry interviews and musical acts throughout the day. We had 100s of people come through and dozens that showed interest in investing in the app or partnering with us (if they were representatives of other music tech).

  • I had the opportunity to advise and consult cross functionally with design, engineering, and cx to help create the best app experience possible. My expertise in consumer insights and product leadership combined to help take features and functions from 0 to 1 - including a CMS for artists, a new onboarding experience, and UI charts to visualize music investor earnings.

  • PMM is about utilizing the power of marketing tactics like research & insights to improve conversion and retention within the app. I conducted multiple first-hand research projects to build a comprehensive strategy for keeping users engaged and active.

  • I helped create and guide much of the Labelcoin brand identity. This included in-app videos, copy writing, social media content, and web & app design to create a more powerful and cohesive product brand experience.
