Legendary founder, Aaron Patterson, has a dream to build an application that verifies and quantifies the value of human morale in the workplace, that can outline an organization’s ability to grow. Starting with his “Growth Readiness Map” and expanding into ABI (artificial business intelligence), he’s building a product that helps leaders lead better.
I’ve had the honor of working with Aaron in an advisory and consulting role. From inception to launch, I’ve frequented conversations with Aaron about how to best visualize and roadmap the product. We’ve dug into ideal customer personas, what they need, what they want - and I’ve provided insights into how Legendary can best meet those demands.
I’ve helped produce videos and other content for him to show value to investors and customers as well.
My Method:
1.) Immersion
I first want to understand the customer, the product, and the market as intimately as I can. This looks like doing a deep analysis through surveys, research, and study. Doing as much as I can to empathize with the user - so that I can truly understand their motivations.
2.) Analysis
What are the opportunities? What’s missing in the current market? How are other companies targeting or not targeting the ICP? I think it’s critical to write out assumptions and observations - and review that with the team.
3.) Plan
Using the analysis as our guide, I think it’s critical to plan with a matrix of IMPORTANCE, IMPACT, IMPOSSIBILITY - inter-tangled to see your best possible course of action. It’s similar to the iron triangle. There are some things that are highly important, but might have little impact (like setting up your corporate structure). Other things could have a massive impact, but are so expensive and esoteric that they are nearly impossible to achieve. Let’s build a plan that can maximize impact, in order of importance, in a way that’s possible.
4.) Execution
I have a special gift for assessing the right talent for the right role. Whether I’m executing or building the team to execute - I have no problem seeing a project through from beginning to end with a high degree of excellence.
